For business
Commercial & industrial
Bins and containers on site, collections on a schedule that suits your production, and honest grading backed by weighbridge tickets and metal analysis.
40+ years in Nantwich
Family run scrap merchants and industrial dismantlers since the 1980s.
Environment Agency compliant
Licensed facility with proper end-of-life vehicle de-pollution.
Weighed and graded on site
Approved scales, sorted by grade, and an 800-tonne Harris shear.
Collection across the region
Own lorries and grab loaders covering roughly 30 miles from the yard.
We work with engineering firms, fabricators, farms, garages, electrical contractors and demolition companies across Cheshire and the borders — turning process waste into a monthly cheque rather than a disposal cost.
Containers to suit the site
We can supply bins, skips and roll-on containers for segregating grades at source, swapped on an agreed frequency or on a call-off basis. Where space is tight, a grab lorry collecting loose loads is often the better answer — we will look at access before committing to anything.
Industries we work with
General and precision engineering, rail and rolling stock, fabrication and sheet metal work, food and process plant, chemical and packaging manufacturers, agricultural engineers and farms, motor trade and commercial vehicle workshops, electrical and mechanical contractors, and construction and demolition firms.
Grading you can check
Everything is weighed on approved scales and documented. Our metal analysing facility confirms alloy grades, which matters when you are producing stainless, aluminium or specialist alloy swarf and offcuts. You get paperwork that reconciles against what left your site.
Farms and agricultural scrap
The farming community has been a core part of our work for decades. We buy redundant implements, ploughs, trailers and combines, barn and shed steel, feed bins, tanks, gates and fencing, and old machinery cleared from farmyards. Loads are collected with our own grab lorries, and we can take down redundant farm buildings too — see our industrial dismantling page.
Processing capacity behind it
Our Nantwich site runs a Harris 800-tonne shear along with cable processing, baling and vehicle de-pollution facilities, and for work on your own premises we have a mobile 40-tonne Euromech shear with a 500-tonne cutting force. That means large structural steel, plant and machinery can be handled by us rather than shipped on, and it keeps our prices competitive on heavy loads.

Good to know
Commercial & industrial — questions we get asked
Do you collect, or do I have to deliver it?
Both. You are welcome to bring scrap to the yard, and for larger loads we can collect with our own lorries and grab loaders across South Cheshire, North Staffordshire and North Shropshire.
Is there a minimum load for collection?
It depends on the metal and how far away you are — a small load of copper is worth collecting when a small load of light steel may not be. Give us a ring on 01270 611447 and we will tell you honestly.
How is my scrap weighed?
Everything is weighed on site on approved scales and sorted by grade, so you can see exactly what you have brought in and what it is being paid as.
How much will you pay for my scrap metal?
Scrap prices move daily with the metal markets, so we do not publish rates. Ring the yard on 01270 611447 and we will tell you exactly what we are paying today for what you have.
Not sure what your scrap is worth?
Prices move daily. Give us a ring and we'll tell you what we're paying today — no obligation, no nonsense.
