Waste & clearance
Skip hire
A range of skip sizes delivered across Nantwich, Crewe and the wider Cheshire area at competitive rates — with any metal in the skip separated and recycled rather than buried.
40+ years in Nantwich
Family run scrap merchants and industrial dismantlers since the 1980s.
Environment Agency compliant
Licensed facility with proper end-of-life vehicle de-pollution.
Weighed and graded on site
Approved scales, sorted by grade, and an 800-tonne Harris shear.
Collection across the region
Own lorries and grab loaders covering roughly 30 miles from the yard.
Skips are the natural companion to our scrap business: you get one point of contact for the rubbish and the metal, and the metal is paid for rather than tipped.
Choosing a size
For a bathroom or single room strip-out a small skip is usually plenty. House clearances, garden projects and small building works tend to need a midi or builders’ skip, while ongoing site work and larger clearances are better served by a large skip or a roll-on container. Tell us what the job is and we will recommend the size rather than sell you the biggest.
Please load skips responsibly
Skips must be level-loaded so our drivers can sheet and lift them legally — anything piled above the rim cannot be collected. Keep the weight distributed, and don’t put soil or rubble in a skip hired for general waste without telling us first, as heavy loads are charged differently.
What cannot go in a skip
No asbestos, tyres, fridges or freezers, gas cylinders, paint, oils, solvents, batteries, fluorescent tubes, TVs, monitors or clinical waste. Some of these we can take separately at the yard — batteries in particular — so ask rather than hiding them in the skip.
Where we deliver
Nantwich, Crewe, Audlem, Sandbach, Middlewich, Winsford, Alsager and the surrounding villages, with deliveries into North Shropshire and North Staffordshire depending on the day. If the skip is going on a public road you may need a permit from the local council — mention it when you book and we will talk you through it.

Good to know
Skip hire — questions we get asked
Do you collect, or do I have to deliver it?
Both. You are welcome to bring scrap to the yard, and for larger loads we can collect with our own lorries and grab loaders across South Cheshire, North Staffordshire and North Shropshire.
Is there a minimum load for collection?
It depends on the metal and how far away you are — a small load of copper is worth collecting when a small load of light steel may not be. Give us a ring on 01270 611447 and we will tell you honestly.
Do you take fridges, gas bottles or anything hazardous?
Some items need special handling and some we cannot take at all. Please ring the yard on 01270 611447 before you load up so we can tell you what is possible.
Not sure what your scrap is worth?
Prices move daily. Give us a ring and we'll tell you what we're paying today — no obligation, no nonsense.
